What is Pelicon?

PELICON is a 3-day board gaming event that will take place on February 7-9, 2025! The event is hosted by Galveston Gaming Expo, a board game-focused nonprofit, and features games, events for the whole family, prizes, and game giveaways!

Participate!

To participate in Play-to-Win you must have a valid PeliCON badge. To be entered, a badge holder will check-out a game from the Play-to-Win library and upon check-in provide their name, badge number and phone number on the entry card for the game that was played. Every badge holder that played may fill out an entry for the game. Attendees are limited to one entry per check-out but are able to check-out the same game multiple times throughout the convention (although this will not increase your chances at winning). It’s that simple!

Located on Galveston’s magnificent Seawall Boulevard, the Galveston Island Convention Center at The San Luis Resort offers an ideal spot for our inaugural gaming event. With a large central hall and multiple spacious rooms for breakout games and tournaments you’re never far from fun and the sun! Need a break? There are many restaurants within walking distance or a short drive to the Historic Strand District!
